  2. Renaissance will be hosting a group of 30 students-basketball players from Australia (ages 15-17 years old) on December 9 and 10. There is an exciting opportunity to become a HOST FAMILY for two (or more if you have enough beds and bathrooms J) of them. Host Family Form can be picked at the front office. If you are interested please print and fill it up and send it to school (Attn. Sasha Heiney). If you need a paper copy or have a question please contact Parent Facilitator Sasha Heiney (heineya@sps.springfield.ma.us or call 413-750-2929, ext. 1000).

Please join me and the UMASS Achieving Diversity Initiative on Wednesday, October 1st at 2:30 in the Guidance Conference Room for an information session. Students who participate in the Nursing Club will receive academic advising and admission support, visit UMASS state of the Art Nursing Simulation Lab, and will receive Nursing Scholarships upon admission to a Nursing Program. Please see Ms. Wilson in the Guidance Office for more details.

Across from Mr. Pear’s office, next to Mr. Wright’s room. All students are welcome, sign-up in advance in Mr. Soycher’s room (room 002). Ride On!

  1. Basketball sign-ups for the boys. They will be Sept 18th and 19th at both lunches. Either Tracey Marshall or a member of the team will be doing sign-ups.
  2. Crew Teaching Assistants: Students in grades 10-12 can sign up to be a Founding Crew Teaching Assistant.  Selected students must complete an Orientation and Training Session on Saturday, September 20th from 8 am to 12 pm.   Sign-ups will be available at HS lunch and in the Main Office.   Questions?  See Dr. Mahoney or Ms. Slabich
