  • A New Routine for Morning Library Lovers!  Sign out a NEW BARCODE pass in the main office and present it for SCANNING at Ms. Pfeifer’s desk.
  • Juniors – Do you want to earn FREE college credit this summer? Do you need to boost your GPA? Come to Guidance and Counseling during lunch and learn about dual enrollment for STCC. Pick up an application ahead of time! You must sign up and get a pass from Ms. Ann Cinelli or Ms. Grant in Guidance and Counseling BEFORE crew on Wednesday.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30th

HAVE A GREAT DAY

  • There is still space on the bus to Smith College for Thursday’s Kovalevsky Math Day fieldwork.  9th, 10th and 11th grade girls can find blank copies of the permission slip on the door to Ms. Jackson’s office in room 107.
  • Congratulations to the Girls Track team on their tri-meet win Tuesday vs. Cathedral and Holyoke Catholic.  The score was a tight 67-62-34.  All of girls performed well, including first place finishes from Hydeia Terry in the shot put and Deliani Velez in the triple jump.  Great Job ladies!  Their next meet is Thursday at Athol.

TUESDAY, APRIL 15th

HAVE A GREAT DAY

  • Ambassadors lunch and mandatory meeting on TUESDAY, April 15 in Room 118 at 10:25am.
  • Wednesday, April 16th – Half-day of Student-led family conferences from 11:30 till 4:30. Note, there are no SFLCs for 8, 10 and 12 grades (as they will be doing Passage Portfolios & Senior Talks).  The same day, Wednesday, April 16th PTO will be doing its first Fundraiser selling a Fair Trade chocolate Bars, items from our School’s Store & donated baking goods to students, parents, teachers & anybody who wish to support our PTO. We are asking for your help to make this fundraiser successful! Treat yourself with a piece of pastry or a chocolate bar & support PTO!
  • The Renaissance Gay Straight Alliance is sponsoring The National Day of Silence on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. The National Day of Silence is a day of action in which students across the country vow to take a form of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools. Sign up at lunch to participate.  Students who have signed up will have a participation card with them that they should show you if they wish to remain silent. Thank you for your support! MG
  • National Poetry Month is NOW — April! Submit up to three poems ANY style to the library poem box.
