Friday, December 20th students will be dismissed at 11:05am for winter break.

Ms. Thomas’s crew will be selling reindeer candy cane grams at middle school lunch from December 9-19.  We will come around to get orders in order to deliver them to crews on Dec 19. All money goes to the Shriners.

World Challenge Meeting on Monday, 12/16  from 2:30-3:00.  Room 125. We will be looking at our options and setting our itinerary (rafting versus volcano trip, downtown capital shopping versus a longer jungle trek, etc.).  IF you CANNOT attend, you MUST weigh in your opinion with Mrs. Magrath-Smith BEFORE the meeting. This is an important part of students’ being in charge of the trip.  If you don’t have a death in the family or a MAJOR commitment, I expect you to be there.

Next Tuesday, 12/17 is our first game of the season and our first home game. All of our home games will be at Rebecca Johnson school this year.  We are looking for all of the students, faculty and administrators to attend and support Renaissance sports throughout the season and in our first basketball game on12/17 at Rebecca Johnson School.  Please attend and invite everyone you know to help us kick off the season. The junior varsity plays at 5:30 PM with the varsity to follow at 7 PM.  Let’s pack the gym at Rebecca Johnson school and show our school enthusiasm and support.  Thank you and hope to see you all there.” Coach Williams

Student council fundraiser!  Movie night, Tuesday December 17th from 5pm-8pm in the black box!  Donations will be accepted

Yawkey Scholars Program:  Many students are deserving of this type of support during college, but this program seeks to support and encourage students:  Who are a current senior, has a strong academic record, planning to attend a competitive private college in MA, who are engaged in a meaningful mentoring relationship , who has unmet financial need.
